To commemorate the signing, we hosted a VIP media day at XLHQ in Shoreditch, London alongside EXCEL’s ambassador and renowned footballer, Dele Ali. Featuring the UK’s top sports journalists and football games, FIFA took over the XLHQ for one action-packed day, exciting the nation of this historic moment!
Across the campaign, we secured 104 pieces of coverage throughout national and international papers including Daily Mirror, sports outlets including a feature in The Athletic, SportBIBLE and Kicker as well as various lifestyle publications such as VERUS, with a total reach of 3.4 billion.
